Fonda Llabres is a fundamental place in the history of Alcúdia, an emblematic space of that time and of today, located in the heart of the historic center of Alcúdia.


In 1957, Tomeu Llabrés and Madò Francisca Buades acquired the Fonda that at that time was called Can Tomás. The Llabrés Family came to run the Pollentia Bar. In those years Tomeu collected snails every morning (and contraband tobacco cartons). She cooked them and also some "bunyols" at parties, in addition to preparing delicious almond ice creams and organizing "bailes" (dances) for Sunday afternoons. They gathered so many people that they won the nickname of "Can Xamelí".


Fonda Llabrés has passed from generation to generation until today. The space has changed, there are new faces, but there are elements that remain unchanged in the Fonda: the family atmosphere, the taste of the dishes cooked as always, the magnetism of the terrace, the best views of the Plaza de Alcudia ... Mediterranean in its pure state, as if taken from a Fellini movie.

The Fonda Llabrés Restaurant is a space open to the people of Alcúdia and at the same time a meeting point for locals and travelers. A place, four spaces where everything fits:

THE TERRACE is the place where all Alcúdia passes by. A space to look and be seen, the heart of the town, the meeting point, the ideal place to have breakfast in the sun and to have dinner under the stars.


THE INTERIOR is the quiet corner, the space for reading, working and watch television, with a privileged view of the Plaza.


EL ALTILLO is the different space, located on the first floor. It is a warm, cozy, pleasant and original place, where menus and special dinners are organized. From here you also have an interesting view of the square.


THE ROOF TOP is a unique place on the island. A cocktail space located at the top of the Fonda with the best views of the North of Mallorca. The sky of Alcudia is at Fonda Llabrés.

La Fonda Llabrés de Alcúdia offers traditional Mallorcan cuisine, recipes from more than three generations ago that have passed from father to son and that the Chef Juanjo Andrés has maintained to make it evolve towards a more contemporary cuisine bringing the freshness of seafood and the particular fish preparation, in addition to an inspirational cookbook.


Cuisine of freedom, market and product, in a centennial and family environment, cooked with the heart, with the flavor of the land and expressed in our menus: "Breakfast Menu" and "Restaurant Menu".

It is still dark when the first kilns are lit. Each day is a marathon that starts and ends at dawn. Always with the aroma of morning coffee, yeast from Cefe's cocas, the spices of Mallorcan tapas, paella funds, Chef Juanjo Andres work in progress, ...,...
